At Matchstick Architecture, we believe a home should be a reflection of the people who live in it — how they move through their days, gather with the ones they love, and find rest. Our work is rooted in listening first, designing second.
We specialize in residential design guided by two core beliefs: that nature is our greatest design partner, and that every client's way of living is the true blueprint for every project.
For renovations, we approach existing homes with care and intention — preserving what makes them special while thoughtfully evolving them into the best version of themselves for the family calling them home. For new construction, we let the land lead. The site's topography, light, climate, and materials inform everything, so that when a home is finished, it feels like it could only exist exactly where it does.
